Chapter 8: The Fierce Seven-Winged Skeleton

Dark Small Medium Large Original Scroll to Bottom

Damn it, that was beautifully done. I want her to strike you with a lightsaber, tearing all her clothes apart. Han Shuo felt a sense of satisfaction in his heart, secretly thinking.

The square is in a state of chaos

Eileen was taken aback, watching as the little skeleton suddenly rushed towards her. Realizing there was no time to recite the incantation again, she quickly exerted all her strength to dodge to the left. With a sharp sound, Eileen let out a startled cry.

Eileen, at seventeen years of age, has fragmented light blue short hair and a beautiful fringe on her forehead. Her sky-blue eyes resemble two brilliant sapphires. She wears a pure light magic robe, which is adorned at the chest with a diamond-shaped blue gemstone that radiates a soft blue light, complementing her eyes and enhancing her beauty.

As he ran, his two calves stretched like springs, and the seven bony spurs along his back flapped continuously during his sprint. Although they could not lift him off the ground, they seemed to provide a boost, enabling him to move at remarkable speed. Behind him, the little witch Lisa, despite casting several necromantic spells, could not land a hit on him

Exclamations echoed continuously from the mouths of the magic students of the Light System, and even Lisa stood there in a daze, shocked by this fierce little skeleton

"Lisa, your necromancy faction has really become increasingly audacious lately, bringing these filthy dark creatures to our Light Magic Academy. Are you still resentful about losing to me last time and trying to take the opportunity to show off the prowess of your skeleton warriors?" Junior Light Mage Erin said coldly, provocatively looking at Lisa

"It's so strange, such a small skeleton, yet it's black, and it has seven bone spurs on its back. I really don't know how Lisa summoned it," Amy said while walking quickly.

Not only Han Shuo and Jack, but also some of the necromancy students were hurrying towards the Light Magic Academy with strange expressions, chattering incessantly along the way

The junior mage Bella, upon hearing Asina's words, couldn't help but furrow her brow slightly and snorted, saying: "I am also a junior mage, yet I have never summoned such a peculiar skeleton. What is even more bizarre is that this little skeleton does not obey the summoner's commands, which is simply illogical."

However, this small skeleton, which has been refined by Han Shuo using the magic treasure refining technique, has overturned the common understanding of magic, proving an astonishing fact to the students of the Light and Undead schools.

Indeed, it is quite strange. Light magic is supposed to be the nemesis of dark creatures. His skeleton should have turned to ashes under the holy light. What is going on here

Ha, I actually received an order now, this colorful skeleton

Han Shuo, still bleary-eyed, had just been dreaming. In his dream, he had sent a little skeleton to confront the young witch Lisa. Before the dream could continue, he was awakened by Jack, who, with a hint of dissatisfaction, exclaimed: "What's going on so early in the morning?"

Feeling anxious deep down, Han Shuo attempted to connect with the little skeleton using his mental power. He discovered that a connection was indeed possible; however, it seemed that due to the method used to refine the magic treasure, the little skeleton was unable to receive the commands he issued and continued to run around aimlessly in the distance

"Hmph, filthy dark creature, you are absolutely not allowed to appear in the sacred Academy of Light Magic. Since you cannot take him away, then allow me to assist you!" Erin raised her hands with a look of sanctity and slowly recited the magical incantation: "Blade of Light, transform into a long sword that purifies evil, sever this humble life—Light Sword Slash!"

The dark, shadowy skeletal frame seemed to suddenly emit a faint ghostly glow at the moment the lightsaber struck it. Then, the lightsaber vanished without a trace. From the small skeleton's chest, a wisp of faint black smoke rose. The small skeleton was jolted, its slender frame swayed slightly before it steadied itself again, holding the small dagger that shimmered with a cold light, looking around as if trying to see who had struck it.

Then the little skeleton ran towards the Light Magic Academy, and Lisa was desperately chasing after it. Oh! I swear that during my time at the Necromancy Academy, I have never seen a little skeleton run so fast; it even has seven bony spikes that resemble wings

At this moment, Han Shuo's attention was entirely focused on the little skeleton that was jumping around in the Light Magic Academy, completely ignoring Jack's complaints

At this thought, Han Shuo felt a chill in his heart, and suddenly sprang up from the bed, disregarding even the morning task of polishing the statue, as he pulled Jack and rushed towards the Light Magic Academy

Dragging Jack, Han Shuo sprinted forward at a remarkable speed. His frail body was even faster than some of the necromancy students, startling those necromancy students left behind. They wondered when this fool had become so physically capable after going mad.

The second day

The Light Magic Academy, unlike the relatively few students in the Necromancy department, is a large department at the Babylon Magic Academy, boasting many outstanding students. Moreover, Light Magic students have always harbored a strong dislike for Dark Magic, likely due to the opposing nature of Light and Dark Magic. This animosity is particularly pronounced towards students of Necromancy, as Light Magic has a restraining effect on Necromantic spells.

Han Shuo looked around and noticed that the surrounding light magic students all wore expressions of shock, each one staring in disbelief at the little skeleton that was looking around.

Han Shuo's little skeleton had been hiding everywhere. Just as Lisa came to a stop, the little skeleton also foolishly halted. It seemed to have not yet reacted when Erin's lightsaber struck, piercing directly into the skeleton's chest.

... ...

The little skeleton thrust its bone knife, but because Eileen dodged quickly, it did not stab her. Instead, it tore her magical robe from her right shoulder down to her delicate chest, revealing her fair and tender skin. On the little skeleton's bone knife, there now hung a small piece of white lingerie, and it stood there in a daze, not continuing to press the attack.

"Aileen, you need not meddle in my affairs. Do not think that just because you are from the Camplyn family, I will be afraid of you," Lisa momentarily paused her pursuit of the little skeleton, letting out a cold snort as she spoke to Aileen.

No way, I just used the method of refining the Demon Treasure on him yesterday. In my dream, it was all hazy, but it seemed like I issued a command to teach Lisa a lesson. However, isn't the refining of this Demon Treasure supposed to take thirty-six days? How could this happen? Could it be because I recklessly used bone spurs as a substitute for the 'Yin Demon,' resulting in insufficient magical energy?

Han Shuo stared at the little skeleton, which was suddenly so quick and agile, momentarily taken aback. He quickly focused his mental energy, attempting to command the little skeleton to return to his storage room. Unfortunately, it seemed that the little skeleton was unable to receive Han Shuo's mental commands, continuing to dart swiftly among the stone pillars and the light magic students, causing them to shout loudly and scatter in all directions.

However, just as everyone was in astonishment, the little skeleton looked around for a long time and finally identified who had struck him. With five bony fingers gripping the gleaming little bone dagger, he charged towards Erin, the seven small bone spikes flapping rapidly, and with a speed astonishing for a skeleton warrior, he arrived in front of Erin, the little bone dagger clenched in his hand, and lunged fiercely at the panicked Erin.

When Han Shuo dragged Jack to the Light Magic Academy, Jack was already exhausted, collapsing onto the ground and gasping for breath. He exclaimed repeatedly, "Brian, you run so fast! I’m almost dead from being dragged by you, and you don’t even have a drop of sweat on your forehead."

Ah... Could it be that the necromancy has already developed a way for dark creatures to be unaffected by light magic? How is that possible? If that were the case, wouldn't the dark creatures of necromancy be too powerful?

While running, Han Shuo was also anxious. Han Shuo was not merely a necromancer; he could not be as indifferent to his summoned creatures as they were, completely disregarding the life and death of the summoned beings. During this time, the little skeleton had been helping Han Shuo with garbage disposal, saving him a great deal of effort. Unbeknownst to him, Han Shuo had developed feelings for this little skeleton and naturally did not wish for anything to happen to it

Indeed, what is even more astonishing is that this little skeleton is running so fast. Oh my, could it be that Lisa's mental strength is greater than ours, and the summoned skeleton warriors are different from ours? As Asina expressed her surprise, she and Amy hurriedly flew towards the Light Magic Academy, exclaiming in excitement.

She turned out to be a light beauty as well. Han Shuo glanced at Erin and secretly compared her to the little witch Lisa, discovering that Erin was by no means inferior to Lisa. Moreover, her chest had already begun to show a fuller shape, significantly more pronounced than Lisa's.

With this thought in mind, Han Shuo suddenly felt an intense concentration of mental energy. He saw the little skeleton's leg bone straighten, its small body standing upright. The bone knife clenched in its hand flashed with a cold light, and it charged once more towards Erin, who was visibly flustered and embarrassed, covering her upper body. It was clear that it intended to carry out Han Shuo's command—to tear all her clothes apart.

Han Shuo was still in a daze, not fully awake yet. With a loud "bang," the small door of the grocery store was pushed open. As soon as the chubby Jack entered, he rushed over to shake Han Shuo. After waking him up, he excitedly shouted, "Brian, hurry up and get up! There's a good show to watch!"

A long sword, purely formed from blinding light, appeared after Erin completed her magical incantation. Under Erin's command, it swiftly charged towards the little skeleton

Oh, this dark creature, struck by the holy light of light magic, surprisingly did not disintegrate immediately

Jack's two pea-sized eyes sparkled with excitement as he laughed and said, "Brian, that little witch Lisa somehow summoned a very strange little skeleton, and that little skeleton is quite disobedient. I don't know what's going on; it was making a 'pitter-patter' noise in her room early this morning.

In the square of this Light Magic Academy, there are numerous students of light magic, along with several massive stone pillars adorned with exquisite carvings. Small skeletons weave in and out among these magic students and stone pillars, their movements remarkably agile and eerie, leaving the little sorceress Lisa at a loss.

At first, Han Shuo felt quite pleased as he listened, but after Jack finished speaking, Han Shuo's expression changed slightly. Suddenly, he thought of something and abruptly looked towards the small bucket. The water inside the multicolored bucket had turned pitch black at some point, and the seven bone spurs along with the small skeleton had completely vanished.

Dark creatures of the undead, when targeted by light magic, not only suffer normal damage but also endure additional harm. More advanced undead beings will experience bodily decay, while low-level entities like skeleton warriors should immediately turn to ashes and vanish

In the central magic square of the Light System Magic Academy, a small skeleton, entirely black as ink, with seven bony spikes protruding from its back and holding a small dagger-like bone knife that shimmers with a ghostly light, was darting around chaotically in the square.

... ...

The small black skeleton, its bones refined by Han Shuo, appears dark yet seems to emit a faint halo of light. The few bone spurs protruding from its spine look entirely natural, without any sense of awkwardness or incongruity, as if they were always meant to be there.

As Han Shuo ran alongside Jack, he listened to the conversations of some necromancy students nearby. From the words of these necromancy students, Han Shuo realized that the little skeleton he had refined using the method of demon refining was exceptionally unusual.

Many light-based spells possess tremendous destructive power against the dark creatures summoned by necromancers, to the extent that it would not be an exaggeration to say that light magic is the nemesis of the undead. After Han Shuo returned to the necromancy realm, he acquired a wealth of knowledge and, through the words of those necromancy students, came to understand these commonly accepted notions, which made him even more concerned about his little skeleton.
